Elected Officials The City of Westbrook has a strong Mayor form of government that provides responsive, progressive leadership and a vision for our community. Among many other duties, City Government is responsible for planning, improving and maintaining the City's infrastructure, providing cost effective and responsive services to the community, ensuring long-term financial stability, adopting budgets and directing City operations, projects and programs. The City Council is presided over by the Mayor, who, like the five Councilors, is elected every four years via City-wide vote. The Westbrook City Council Meetings are conducted in the Forrest C. Seth Council Chambers (first floor), City Hall, 4755 SW Griffith Drive, Westbrook, weekly on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. All City Council Meetings are open to the public, except portions of the meeting which meet legal requirements to be discussed in Executive Sessions. |
