Maddocha City is one of the larger cities in the state; it is a commercial and industrial center, a seaport with extensive anchorages and dock and storage facilities. Sand, grain, iron, stone, and food products are exported.  Among Maddocha City’s leading industries are shipbuilding, sugar and food processing, and electronics.
