MetroHardawayWith boundaries coextensive with Robinson County, Hardaway has a land are of 973.72 sq. miles (2,521.93 sq. kilomters).  Included within that area are the cities of Wyman, Aurora, and the townships of Patterson, Jenkinstown, Agorie, and Davisville at the core of a metropolitan region covering six counties Boone, Hendricks, Madison, Robinson, Williams, and Woodburn.

The tallest buildings appear in a 12-block area known as Central Court, so named because the main courthouse is located in the center of the buildings. Central Court is the business and historic heart of Hardaway.

Surrounding Central Court is a number of historic districts such as Lockerbie Place and Johnson Square. To the northeast of downtown is the historic center of the city's African-American population, which connects with the city of Absanie, a predominantly African-American city.

Office parks, shopping centers, and other large commercial structures exist at the city's edge, especially to the south of the city.
