Public Schools

Haran is home to Hazelwood ISD and Haran ISD.  Haran High School South and Haran High School North are found in the Haran ISD, and East Technical High School is found in the Hazelwood ISD. There are two middle schools in both the Hazelwood ISD and Haran ISD. There are several elementary schools within the limits of both school districts.

Private Schools

North Center Christian School is a preschool through grade 12 Christian schools that is theologically associated with the Maddocha Federation of Baptist Churches.

Bagley ISD is a kindergarten through grade 12 private school.

Several kindergarten through 12^th grade parochial schools reside in Haran. These include St. Ferdinand, Trinity Catholic, and St. Peter schools.

Colleges and Universities

Haran is home to Scott Community College, a barber college, and several technical schools. Haran is a pipeline for Quinton Community College in Quinton, Precious Mountain Junior College in Precious Mountains, North Maddocha Community College in Petersburg, Precious Mountain University and Haley Christian College in Precious Mountain.
