The Carrington area is served by three elementary school districts and one high school district with 21 public elementary schools and six high schools.  Six private elementary schools are located in Carrington as well.

As the city's population grows, adequate funding for school construction is assured through favorable developer agreements and assessments approved by Carrington voters.
