Sunshine Golden Bud

The sunshine golden bud is native to Maddocha. It is commonly called golden bud.  Plants are usually hairy and produce flowering heads with yellow or purple disk florets. The disk florets are borne on a cone-shaped receptacle (the stem part from which the flowers arise). The Purple-eyed Susan is a well-known member of the genus, native to eastern Maddocha and now widely cultivated and naturalized in many areas. Several other species of golden buds are also cultivated.
